On the back of the release of Predators is the new Zombies anthology by Accent UK. I don't have a strip but have a poster which is featured above. It's a first experiment with watercolours and inks with some photoshopping by my buddy Andy Bloor!

Coming to a comic shop near you soon is Predators the latest anthology by Accent Comics I have a 5 page strip in it called Spider written Alexi Conman. It was a real challenge I didn't hit the mark first time, but after some deliberation and determination I finished it. It's been grey toned by a guy called Steve and looks cool. Here is a page of the original artwork without all the jiggery pokery!

Being a Tim Burton fan, for Valentines I painted this card for my beloved. Based on Stick Boy and Match girl from The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy, I am pleased with it. I have also included some sketches of costume designs for Lyss that I did a while ago and hopefully convey the claustrophobic and paranoid world he lives in

It's been some time since my last blog so have dusted off the keyboard and decided to try and update it more. I have completed another strip called Spider which is going into this years Accent UK Anthology Predators and have been given the opportunity to complete a pin up for Zombies 2. In the meantime here's a biro drawing I did to show the young people at work cross hatching

Well its been sometime now since I last added an entry. Truth be told its been a busy year with the arrival of our third child, applying for my job and being successful. In terms of comics, with all these developments I was unable to meet the deadline for the Western anthology. I did however complete a poster, which has been gray toned and re-edited by my chum Andy. As I look foward to the new year I am thumbnailing a strip called Spider written by Alex Conman. Lyssophobia is still a lifelong project but just trying to get the story sorted out.

Above you is the new header for my blog courtesy of my friend Andy Bloor, cheers old chum. Yesterday I received my copy of Robots the Accent Uk Anthology which features my Karakuri strip. Its truely fantastic seeing my artwork in print and amazing to know that people both in the States and the UK will get to see it. Hope they are suitably impressed. Its given me an impetus to get on and finish the Pledge a story written by a work mate Ian Dowson.

I have also started to discuss with him the idea of Lyssophobia and his working title is Accidental Terrorist I like the title

Hi,

This is my first post. I am hoping to chart the progress of some comic art as I complete it inbetween family committments and work. Lyssophobia is a concept I came up with many years ago and something I would like to revisit. At the moment I have completed a strip for Accent Uks Robots anthology out this May and am doing a Western Strip. I have a large thankyou to give to my pal Andy.
